There is a saying, or "an old wives tale" that if it rains on your wedding day, it is a blessing from Heaven.  Well, without a doubt.... Lavern and Ricardo were truely blessed on their wedding day...  The Heavens opened and the rains came down all day on this Easter Sunday... but this did not stop Laverne and Ricardo from enjoying their day.  They were abosolutely amazing during their couples shoot.  I have to add, that I was quite humbled by the love that these two wondeful soulmates have for each other...

Photographing Lara-Jayne and Michael has been one of the most memorable moments in my carreer.... Lara-Jayne is a lady who knows what she wants, and she had every wedding service provider who was working for her, on their toes....In every way, it was an absolute pleasure to work for a person who is a perfectionist... she trusted me to do my job the way I do it...  and it was quite clear that the same went for all the other service providers for this wedding - everybody did their best ....and it was a huge success... !!!   It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL wedding !!!!

Melissa and Chris had a lovely wedding in Uitenhage.  They have been planning their wedding for a long time, but I am sure it was all worth the wait... Melissa was such a radiant bride and Christopher couldn't keep his eyes off her...

Needless to say that it was really such a pleasure to work with a bridal couple who were so excited about their photoshoot. ....one of my first couples who were in no hurry to rush back to their reception during the photoshoot.... they were so in love and so happy...that I could have photographed them for hours if the daylight allowed me to....
